Following the success of dozens of eponymous stores around the world, Eataly Paris opened in 2019 as a must-see destination for fans of Italian cuisine. Located in Le Marais on a quiet block neighboring Rue des Archives, this shopping destination has been designed to highlight the best of Italian cuisine, with a focus on quality and authenticity.
The store is spread out on three levels and carries everything from gelato to spaghetti and beyond. The array of Italian products that can be found here is nothing short of impressive. Need a couple of steaks for dinner? They have a butcher counter that can help you out. Mozzarella, Asiago, taleggio? A cheesemonger is available to guide your choice.
There are open stalls with fresh fruit and vegetables waiting to be brought home, and a bakery where you can pick up warm, just-baked focaccia or crispy-crunchy cannoli. If you’d rather have them do all the cooking, you can opt for freshly prepared dishes — pasta, risotto, arancini, vitello tonnato, and other Italian favorites are available on a daily basis.
Its several restaurants make it a fun place to hang out with friends, over a glass of Chianti or a simple pizza pie. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick bite, a light lunch, or a full-on gourmet dinner, Eataly Paris has something to satisfy your taste buds.
No meal is complete without a glass of wine, and in order to accommodate that, Eataly Paris boasts the largest Italian wine cellar in Paris, offering 1,200 unique labels. L’embarras du choix is a real thing, mes amis.
The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to help with everything you need. The store offers cooking classes in classic Italian cuisine, baking and patisserie, as well as private classes. A variety of tasting events and activities for children and adults are available throughout the year.
All Eataly locations have a keyword that is specific to each one. The Marais store chose Fraternité — a cherished word in French history, and also a nod to the concept of brotherhood between the Italian and French cuisines, joined together under one roof.
