Since opening in summer 2017, this cool cocktail spot has quickly gained a reputation for being one of the best bars in Paris. Located in the Combat neighborhood of Belleville, this minimalist, female-owned watering hole puts all its focus on creating delicious drinks and a friendly ambiance.
As you approach the bar, the first thing you’ll notice is the bar’s signature masking tape sign, with letters sometimes flapping in the wind. While the cocktails are top-notch, this place is as far from snobby as you can get. Thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows, you see straight into the bar and immediately get an idea of the hip, casual crowd that flocks here.
Inside, the space is airy and barely decorated at all. Aside from the mustard yellow tile behind the bar, most of the space is covered in white. Head to the stainless steel bar to request one of their expertly crafted cocktails. The bartenders go for quality over quantity, so the drink menu is a bit short, but that just means you can’t go wrong whatever you order. While everything is good (and quite affordable at just 10-12€ for a truly excellent cocktail), if you really can’t make up your mind, try the ‘cocktail du jour’ and enjoy a nice surprise!
