Completely renovated and remodeled just a year or two ago, Monsieur Culbuto has quickly become a new neighborhood hangout for the mid-twenties/thirty-something crowd in the 20th Arrondissement.
The bar and restaurant‘s interior is both trendy and timeless with large windows, copper accents, and rich materials giving it a classy, comfortable, and airy feeling. Outside, brightly colored café tables and chairs line the sidewalk, and with windbreak partitions and heating lamps, the patio is nice even in winter.
It’s also a digital nomad’s paradise. A large wooden table and comfortable banquette invite you to sit for hours while working on your laptop and drinking a tasty cocktail, either alcoholic or non. The Moscow Mule and their non-alcoholic gingernade are my personal favorites. You can also eat here if you’d like, although the meals are a little pricey for me. I tend to just order a (very generous) plate of French fries to snack on and share with a friend.
The friendly service makes you feel even more at home and the laid-back, spacious environment is a welcome respite from the smaller, louder bars in the area.
