If you’re looking for a rockin’ night out with good — and most often free — live music in Paris, look no further than Supersonic at Bastille. Housed in a former factory, this spacious three-story bar and club has several beers on tap at affordable prices as well as a lineup of great bands playing every night of the week.
While most Parisian bars are quite cramped, Supersonic has plenty of room to dance and enjoy the music. The nearly floor-to-ceiling windows let in loads of light on summer evenings — a big difference from almost all other venues in town — and there’s a proper stage and sound system too. After coming here nearly every week for a year when I worked just upstairs, I can assure you that if you like rock, you’ll have a good time here. You’ll also get the chance to discover local artists too!
Vinyl lovers should also be sure to hit up Supersonic — their disquaire, or record store, opened next door to the club in 2020. Here you’ll find records on sale from local indie artists as well as a small stage welcoming artist showcases, conferences, and more.
