Paris isn’t called the City of Love for nothing.
Tucked into the small Square Jehan Rictus in Montmartre, stands a 416-square-foot wall covered in pretty blue tiles with “I love you” written in 250 different languages.
Known in Paris as le Mur des je t’aime, “I Love You: The Wall” is a wonderful expression of amour by artists Frédéric Baron and Claire Kito. The love for this piece of Paris street art has stood the test of time — the wall was inaugurated in 2000.
This lovely little spot makes for a great meeting point in Montmartre. You couldn’t ask for a more perfect background for a couples photo either! It’s an absolute must while in Montmartre if you’re on your honeymoon in Paris!
