Situated in the bohemian 11th Arrondissement of Paris, La Slow Galerie, is hard to miss. Its dark blue façade, glass shopfront displaying various genres of artwork, and numerous plants strewn around the shop make it an enticing space.
As soon as you step inside this Parisian gallery and art shop, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a wide assortment of artwork. While some of the works adorn the walls, there are many, many more art prints neatly stacked on the table.
The pieces are neatly organized according to artist, size, and in some cases, style.

True to its name, La Slow Galerie is a tribute to slowing down and taking time to immerse yourself in art.
As you take the time to peruse the artworks, it is clear that even though there are many different genres and artists the gallery showcases, there’s still a rich point of view and sensitivity they all share.
This is thanks to the concerted efforts of the shop / gallery, which curates artists who have a sensibility that echoes its own. Their works all offer contemplative moments of slowness and solitude.
The vibe of this place, of which the artworks are an integral part, is soulful, serene, and moving.
As you go deeper into the gallery, you come across its luminous gallery space, where it lends a space for solo exhibitions. La Slow Galerie serves as a launchpad for both emerging and established artists to make their mark on Paris’s thriving art scene.

The gallery provides a platform for rising talents to showcase their art to a wider audience while fostering connections between artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts.
La Slow Galerie gives you the chance to buy limited edition art prints from just 20€. Each print is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. They can be purchased with or without frames, perfect for both travelers and locals.
And, of course, you can always buy original artwork from the artists as well.

The shop also keeps very interesting art magazines and journals, that you can browse or even take home.
La Slow Galerie also has an online print shop, in case you can’t visit their location. Its French-language podcast La Bonne Aventure, showcases interviews with artists about their exhibitions and art.
If you love art, aesthetics, and slowing down to immerse yourself in the serenity of art, La Slow Galerie is a beautiful, creativity-nourishing place you’re sure to enjoy. Plus, it’s also one of the best places to buy a unique Parisian souvenir which you won’t find anywhere else.
