Growing up in a family that promoted creativity led Alix D. Reynis to discover her great passion for sculpture. Upon presenting her first collection of dinnerware in 2011, Reynis launched her eponymous brand.
Soon to follow were scented candles and light fixtures, all hand-crafted of Limoges porcelain in her ethereal signature style. Her next creative endeavor became a timeless collection of jewelry in gold or vermeil, each piece a reflection of Reynis’s sophisticated aesthetic.
It was 2016 that marked the opening of Alix D. Reynis’s first Parisian boutique in the heart of Saint-Germain, with a second Haut Marais location following in 2018. Her one-of-a-kind housewares, each poetic piece created in her Parisian atelier, includes delicate plates, platters and bowls, each one perfectly imperfect.
Along with Paris mugs, Reynis creates cups or timbales with street names engraved in gold, and her dreamy Nuit Étoilée collection brings the stars of the night sky onto your table. The composition on each of her unique scented candles, designed in collaboration with a perfumer from Grasse, are reusable as cups or pencil holders. What better souvenir from a véritable Parisian artist?
Reynis’s past jewelry collections have recalled Byzantine and Greek history, but her latest gold rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets bring to mind the Roman era, each hand-molded ornament as delicate as it is bold. The only difficulty when visiting Alix D. Reynis’s Parisian boutiques is deciding on whether to decorate yourself, or your home.
