At night, Paris has that special atmosphere and nowhere more so than by the glittering Seine with the Eiffel Tower, the bridge Alexandre III, and the Grand Palais on the horizon.
The all-glass peniche Rosa Bonheur sur Seine offers a special seat for watching Paris at night, complete with snacks of tapas, sandwiches, and small nibbles all washed down with drinks while the waves offer a gentle sway as the bateaux mouches sail past.
There are many houseboats moored along the Seine, many re-imagined as bars and restaurants, but this one with its little hang-outs along the quayside is my favorite because of its location. The views are simply unbeatable, and in winter, you can swap the chilled cocktail glass for a mug of hot chocolate and it’s still a winner.
Not sure about drinks on the Seine? Make your way to the bar’s other location in the Buttes Chaumont park for a night at the Rosa Bonheur on dry land!
