Parks and green spaces in Paris are always a good thing, and the Jardin du Palais Royal is a favorite. The trees are always manicured, even when they lose their leaves in the winter, the flowers and magnolia trees are among the prettiest in Paris in spring, and no matter the season, there’s always an inviting bench to sit on.
Since 2013, Café Kitsuné in the Palais Royal has been a perennial favorite Paris coffee shop. The quaint location is the perfect size, and because of the no laptop policy it’s never too hard to find a spot at the coffee bar or on the shaded terrasse. You can also get drinks to go to enjoy outside in the park on one of the numerous benches.
Café Kitsuné makes excellent matcha lattes and cappuccinos to warm you up in colder weather. In the summer, they offer iced drinks like their Iced Ginger and ice creams to cool you off.
Luckily for both Parisians and visitors, Café Kitsuné recently opened a coffee shop-restaurant-bar at Café Kitsuné Louvre. This significantly larger location is just minutes from their original Paris location and is light, bright, and inviting. Be sure to stop in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, a cocktail, or a coffee!
