Tea & Pastry Spot in Paris

  • 75 Avenue des Champs-Élysées ,
  • 75008 Paris

You can’t help but feel utterly glamorous nibbling on a decadent pastry under the twinkling light of chandeliers. Ladurée on the Champs Élysées may be deemed by some a tourist trap, but I beg to differ—afternoon Josephine tea and cakes in this quintessential Haussmann building are what Parisian dreams are made of.

Ladurée is for gourmands, whether you’re craving a Religieuse, a La Fleur D’Oranger, or a St. Honoré Framboise.

It’s worth a visit for the presentation, the taste, and the atmosphere. But this institution is more than just sweets; Ladurée is also open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

There are many seating options to choose from too. There’s an outdoor terrace right on Paris’s most famous boulevard, an indoor seating area downstairs where the host will most likely seat you, but I recommend the upstairs option—you’ll have to ask, though, because they save this space for those patrons who are dining.

You can feel absolutely shameless about snapping a photo of your surroundings and of your food for Instagram. Everything is too beautiful, it’d be a crime not to capture it!
