Paris is full of surprises, sometimes you find the most exceptional experiences where you least expect them. In a quiet, residential part of the 15th Arrondissement, far from the usual tourist spots, Neige d’Été offers one of those rare, precious dining moments that stay with you long after the meal is over.
My wife and I discovered this intimate Michelin-starred restaurant ‘en amoureux’ last year, and it remains one of our absolute favorite culinary experiences in Paris.
From the street, the place is completely discreet. Behind its curtained glass windows, you would never imagine the exquisite cuisine waiting inside. It’s the kind of place you have to know about, a true destination for those who seek fine, sophisticated dining in a quiet corner of the city.

As soon as we stepped in, we felt wrapped in a sense of calm and refinement. The minimalist decor is almost like a blank canvas, perfectly designed to let the food shine. And what a show it is.
Chef Hideki Nishi, originally from Japan, crafts a stunning fusion of Japanese precision and French artistry. His plates are as beautiful as they are delicious.
The tasting menu was a journey through delicate, seasonal flavors, with every dish carefully balanced and beautifully presented.

Each plate was made even more memorable thanks to the tiny, colorful flowers and fresh leaves, meticulously arranged like edible poetry. These thoughtful details brought a touch of nature and added a visual softness to each creation.
I still remember the perfectly cooked ‘pigeon farci’ with a subtle beetroot sauce, the fine vegetable garnishes, and the light, inventive desserts that closed the meal on a wonderfully fresh note.

C’était vraiment merveilleux.
What makes Neige d’Été so special isn’t just the cuisine, it’s the overall feeling of intimacy.
The service is gracious and discreet, the pacing of the meal is just right, and throughout, you feel you’ve been invited into a quiet, almost secret world of haute cuisine.

Unlike many Michelin-starred addresses in Paris, Neige d’Été is far from the tourist maps. The surrounding streets are peaceful and almost anonymous — but that’s precisely what makes the discovery so magical.
Behind those opaque windows, a truly exceptional dining experience awaits.
If you’re looking for a romantic restaurant in Paris to share an incredible meal and date night with someone you love, Neige d’Été is a destination you won’t forget.
