Vaugirard

Postal Code 75015
The southwest Paris neighborhood known as le quinzième (the 15th) is the most populated arrondissement. Mostly residential, the area can’t boast prestigious landmarks like its immediate neighbors, however, many delicatessens and bistronomy chefs have chosen to settle here, making it a very attractive place for no-nonsense food lovers and gourmet seekers. There’s also some good shopping with the Beaugrenelle mall and Rue de Commerce and a spacious park which is great for family outings.

Life in the Neighborhood

By guillaume

“Living in the 15th has its perks. Of course, it’s not the liveliest of all Parisian districts and it’s not the trendiest area full of hype bars and innovative concept stores either. But because of the somewhat secluded location, the area has attracted many new generation chefs who have settled their bistronomy restaurants here.

Le Troquet, Le Beurre Noisette, l’Ardoise du XV, and Le Quinzième (de Cyril Lignac) are just a few that can be found in the corners of its residential streets.

We love to go and discover these nouvelle cuisine jewels, proposing no-nonsense traditional dishes at a very reasonable price. To top it all off with a bit of fresh air, we often take walks through the green spaces of the Parc André Citroën, or along the rails of the former south Petite Ceinture train line which has been beautifully converted into a so-called promenade plantée.”
