Nestled up at the high end of the Avenue George V, steps from the Champs Elysées, this Asian fusion restaurant and bar offers a great ambiance for tourists and trendy crowds alike. Lively atmosphere, original house cocktails, morphing video displays, and groovy playlists set the scene for a dinner in a Blade Runner-esque ambiance designed by the legendary Philippe Starck.

Set up as an Asian street bazaar, Miss Kô is a fairly vast space, but it feels like it’s always crowded. There’s a seemingly permanent line at the hostess stand and the bar is generally packed with people sipping cocktails as they wait to be seated. The good thing about it though, is that you’ll have plenty of time to admire the exuberant kitsch décor and gaze into the tantalizing and hypnotic videos playing on the walls.

Interior of one of Paris's coolest Asian restaurants.

Under the colored neon lights, the menu looks equally psycheledic, the concept of fusion food being pushed to its limits: ‘sashizza’, ‘homarchu’ or ‘gyoza boeuf bourguignon’… Sushi and cocktails strangely make a good match, but the rest left us unimpressed and a bit skeptical. If not for the culinary experience, go to Miss Kô for the bustling atmosphere and delirious decorations. Come with a friend for a sake or an Asian-inspired cocktail, and indulge in people-watching and sit-down dancing to the DJ sets.
