A trip to La Bellevilloise is a guaranteed great night out. Whether you’re looking to chat with friends glass-in-hand in the spacious ‘Hall of Olive Trees,’ get some fresh air on the terrace, or dance your heart out in the downstairs club area, there’s something for everyone.

The crowd is friendly, and although its makeup varies depending on the event being thrown, you’re sure to meet both French and internationals, and quite a lot of students. The details for each event can be found on their website, so check times and prices before you head out. Opening hours and entrance fees vary accordingly (cover charges generally range from 5€-25€), but drink prices remain the same. Beers are affordable, cocktails a little less so.

Do be warned: La Bellevilloise is no secret! Loved by Parisians and tourists alike, there’s often a line to enter starting from 10-11pm, but you can skip to the front by buying a ticket beforehand. Regardless, you’re sure to have a night to remember. Or maybe a morning to remember if you decide to dance until it closes at 6am.

La Bellevilloise isn’t just a club; it also hosts an array of alternative events each week: from Cumbia and electro nights to feminist workshops to and Sunday jazz brunches.

From May-September, their open-air pop-up bar next door at 88 Rue Ménilmontant, offers food, drinks, and ping-pong tables, all in a comfy, relaxed atmosphere that feels like a backyard party amongst friends.
