It was a very grey and dreary January in Paris this year and this coming month’s looking much the same. The semi-annual sales season in France is nearly over, meaning you can get some of the best deals while shopping in Paris. Even if you don’t speak French, you can still enjoy the best of current French cinema while in the City of Light thanks to our friends over at Lost in Frenchlation. This February, they’re hosting five film screenings — all with English subtitles — at movie theaters across town. Perfect for English speakers in Paris after a fun, French-infused night out.

This month, the Bourse de Commerce welcomes Avant l’orage by Danh Vo exhibition in its remarkable rotunda. Between the incredible dome that bathes you in light and the colorful artworks in this expo, it’s sure to brighten up your February.

Where better to celebrate Valentine’s Day than in the City of Love? The twenty different artworks on display offer insights into childhood, an interesting blend of cultural and international customs as well as perspectives unique to each individual artist. This exhibition is sure to make you reflect on your own experiences growing up as well as your identity.

Acquaint yourself with French agriculture and taste as many Made-in-France foods as you can at this annual exhibition for all things farm-to-table. Bringing a bit of country life to the capital city, the Salon de l’Agriculture is a fun outing for families in Paris. You’ll find petting farms, tasting booths, and the opportunity to learn more about the origins of the food we consume. You can also rub elbows with several local politicians, including President Macron.

Landscape lovers, be sure to make your way to the Fondation Louis Vuitton before the end of the month. Their current temporary exhibition Monet – Mitchell paris the works of famous Impressionist artist Claude Monet (1840-1926) with those of abstract artist Joan Mitchell (1925-1992), making for a brilliant dialogue based on the banks of the Seine river.
