The days are getting shorter, temperatures are dropping, and the holiday season is on the horizon. We don’t know about you, but we always get impatient around this time of year as we wait for winter to settle in and start ramping up for end-of-year festivities. Fortunately, there’s lots of fun on the agenda this month to help the time fly by. Here are our picks for what not to miss this November in Paris.

Through November 6, 2022 | Sally Gabori Exhibition at the Fondation Cartier

Abstract art lovers in Paris, you have just a few days left to see Europe’s first major solo exhibition of Mirdidingkingathi Juwarnda Sally Gabori. The aboriginal artist’s story is a true inspiration and her colorful paintings are a great way to brighten up a grey fall day in the French capital. If you can’t make it to the Fondation Cartier in time, you can still enjoy her artwork online thanks to this immersive virtual experience.

Through November 20, 2022 | Tintin Immersive Adventure at the Atelier des Lumières

Dive into the pages of a comic book this month with a visit to Paris’s immersive digital art space, the Atelier des Lumières. You’ll see the adventures of Belgium’s favorite young reporter, Tintin, in a whole new light as they’re projected from floor to ceiling all around you.

November 3-19, 2022 | PhotoSaintGermain

If you love photography, November is the perfect time to explore the Left Bank neighborhood of Saint Germain. Dozens of museums, cultural centers, galleries, and bookshops in the district take part in the PhotoSaintGermain festival, hosting exhibitions, studio visits, panels, and more. November 14, 2022 – January 15, 2023 | Illuminations at the Jardin des Plantes

Looking for something fun to do with the kids in Paris this month? Make your way to the Jardin des Plantes to see the larger-than-life illuminations before the colder weather and Christmas crowds arrive. This year’s theme takes a closer look at the miniature world of insects, with giant glowing bugs on display in the gardens.

Every night from November 14, 2022 – January 15, 2023, except December 24 and 31.
Sun-Thurs: 18:00 – 21:30 (last entry at 20:30)
Fri, Sat, & School Holidays: 18:00 – 23:00 (last entry at 22:00).

This adults-only annual event is all about wine. One night every November, wine lovers across France — and around the world — come together in their favorite bars and bistros to taste the latest batch of Beaujolais wines.
