Shop the Best Deals in Paris | Through February 6, 2024

The semi-annual sales season in France is nearly over, meaning you can get some of the best deals while shopping in Paris.

During the last week of les soldes, stores mark down their wares to the deepest discounts and you can take advantage of as much as 70% off normal prices. Not sure where to go?

Celebrate the Lunar New Year | February 3–18, 2024

Issue in the Year of the Wood Dragon this February by taking part in the city-wide celebrations in Paris. While the official holiday is February 10, 2024,

Family-friendly festivities begin the week before, with conferences, concerts, shows, and more leading up to the grand parade in the 13th Arrondissement. 

This is a great time of year to explore the areas often referred to as Paris’s Chinatown. Head to the Place d’Italie or the Belleville neighborhood to find the districts decorated for the holiday, along with tons of street food vendors and a lively buzz.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day in Paris | February 14, 2024

Where better to celebrate Valentine’s Day than in the City of Love?

Show that special someone a little extra amour by treating them to a romantic dinner at one of the best restaurants in Paris — be sure to reserve ahead of time — or by picking up a box of delicious chocolates from one of these top Paris chocolate shops. And if you really want to impress, why not get tickets to a cabaret show for le Saint-Valentin?

Salon de l’Agriculture 2024 | February 24 – March 3, 2024

Acquaint yourself with French agriculture and taste as many Made-in-France foods as you can at this annual exhibition for all things farm-to-table. Bringing a bit of country life to the capital city, the Salon de l’Agriculture is a fun outing for families in Paris. You’ll find petting farms, tasting booths, and the opportunity to learn more about the origins of the food we consume. You can also rub elbows with several local politicians, including President Macron.

Tickets are 16€ for adults, 9€ for children ages 6-12, and entry is free for children under 6. Purchase your tickets on the event’s official website.

Happening This February in Paris

Berthe Morisot and the Art of the 18th Century at Musée Marmottan Monet | Ends March 3, 2024

This special exhibition, curated by Marianne Mathieu and Dominique d’Arnoult, showcases 65 artworks connecting Berthe Morisot’s impressionist style with 18th-century artists like Watteau, Boucher, Fragonard, and Perronneau. It offers a fresh perspective on their artistic affinities through unpublished sources and genealogical studies.

Ending soon at the Musée Marmottan Monet.

Seth se la Joue at the Musée en Herbe | Extended through May 12, 2024

Immerse yourself and your little ones in the enchanting world of street artist Seth at Le Musée en Herbe in Paris.

This entertaining interactive exhibition tracks Seth’s journey across the globe, featuring large silhouettes of children’s faces embedded with his vibrant works from Madagascar, Java, Haiti, Ukraine, and China.

Wander through “Rue Marmaille,” a playful Parisian street scene from Seth’s dreams, and dive into “Haut les Masques,” where you can playfully mask up and step into a world of imagination and games.

The journey ends in a kaleidoscopic tunnel of wordplay and mirrors.

Catch a Movie | February 2–29, 2024

Even if you don’t speak French, you can still enjoy the best of current French cinema while in the City of Light thanks to our friends over at Lost in Frenchlation.

This February, they’re hosting six film screenings — all with English subtitles — at movie theaters across town. Perfect for English speakers in Paris after a fun, French-infused night out.
