You’ll start your adventure by following Alisa to one of Paris’s best marchés (fresh food markets), where you’ll tour the stalls, meet the merchants, discover local products, and learn all about traditional French cooking and culinary habits. All with the help of an English-speaker at your side!
Along the way, you’ll fill your panier with everything needed to prepare your meal… the best seasonal fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and breads. Once your basket is full, you’ll head to an impeccably equipped kitchen in the 11th Arrondissement where you’ll prepare a five-course lunch or dinner with specially chosen wines. Très français, non?
With hands-on instruction, you’ll learn French recipes and cooking techniques along with helpful tips and tricks of the trade.
Then, it’s time to sit down and enjoy the traditional dishes you prepared. A sample menu includes, a mushroom soufflé starter, crispy duck with seasonal vegetables for the main course, salad dressed with Alisa’s French Father-In-Law’s vinaigrette, chocolate cake, and, of course, cheese!
