Saturday, June 28, 2025, more than 500,000 people are expected to attend the annual Paris Gay Pride Parade, also known as the Marche des Fiertés LGBTQIA+. Marchers, music, rainbow flags, and floats will fill the streets along the parade route as it makes its way to the Place de la Nation.
Like Pride parades all over the world, the Paris event focuses on equal rights and fighting discrimination faced by the LGBTQIA+ community, in addition to celebrating love, pride, and self-acceptance. The Paris Marche des Fiertés is organized by Inter-LGBT+ (in French), an organization representing 50 different LGBTQIA+ groups.
The 2025 Paris Pride Parade kicks off at 1:30pm at the Palais Royal – Musée du Louvre metro station and eventually arriving at Place de la Nation for a huge, free fête called “Le Grand Podium” where a huge party takes place from 5:00-11:00pm. Along with drag performances and live music, there are also DJ sets, stand up comedy, and more.
Outside of the official parade festivities, bars and clubs throughout Paris mark the event — Le Marais, with its many gay bars, is sure to be extra lively this weekend to celebrate the occasion.
Mais attention ! Many metro stations are likely to be closed during the parade, so be sure to check the RATP app before heading out.
