Hôtel Bradford Elysées

The Hôtel Bradford Elysées has that special je ne sais quoi. Beyond the typical amenities, this upscale boutique hotel in Paris also lends a dash of Parisian style and quiet luxury to your stay in the City of Light.

To escape some unfortunate apartment circumstances — isn’t it fun when the pipes freeze? — my husband and I decided to book a romantic weekend getaway in Paris.

Although we’re typically the budget-first type of travelers, after a few days without running water, we figured we deserved a small splurge. So we reserved one of the balcony suites and then set off for our mini vacation.

As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we knew we’d made an excellent choice. From the beautiful façade to the friendly staff who helped us check in, the Hôtel Bradford Elysées made a great first impression.

And it continued to impress throughout our stay.

Our Privilège Room was spacious and comfortable with a separate seating area and a large bed that was just right for a good night’s sleep. All the décor and furnishings were so perfectly Parisian.

While the bedroom had an old-world aesthetic, the bathroom was sleek and modern. And impeccably clean.

With ample counter space and a quality combination bathtub/shower, it had everything you need to wash away the day — or in our case, the week!

There are even plush bathrobes to offer a little extra touch of luxury.

Once you’ve had a nice soak and wrapped up in a fluffy robe, I recommend heading out to the balcony to end your day.

Offering great views of the Paris rooftops, the balcony quickly became my husband’s and my favorite spot. It was the perfect place to start the day with a hot drink (there’s a coffee maker in the room) and wind down with a glass of wine (or two) at night.

Another thing we really enjoyed about this Paris hotel was its historic Haussmann-style building. It adds so much character and the beautiful old elevator is a perfect example of that classic Parisian charm — it feels like going back in time every time you step into it.

And the location couldn’t be better. The hotel is close to the Champs Elysées and is just a short walk from the Saint-Philippe-du-Roule station on Paris’s Metro Line 9, making it easy to explore the entire city.

And despite being right in the middle of it all, it still feels peaceful and protected from the hustle and bustle.

The staff was so friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile or a tip on where to go nearby for a good meal or after-dinner drink.

Overall, the Hôtel Bradford Elysées offers a great combination of comfort, convenience, and elegance. It’s a place where you can feel at home while enjoying all the perks of staying in a historic upscale hotel in central Paris.
