If you’re searching for a cute, comfy, and cozy place to crash after a long flight, I cannot recommend Hôtel Amoi enough.

While planning a whirlwind work trip to the Western US, I knew I’d need a respite after landing in Paris before making the journey back to my home in the nearby city of Chartres.

As my flight arrived early in the morning, my focus was on finding a hotel in Paris that offered early check-in or some other way that I could get comfortable quick. And that’s how I first stumbled upon Hôtel Amoi.

Along with offering an early check-in option for 30€, this charming boutique hotel also offers a changing room with shower and luggage storage for anyone with a reservation who arrives before their room is ready.

These little perks were just what I was looking for, so I booked a night and hoped the hotel would live up to the excellent online reviews and gorgeous photos.

Boy did it!

From the second I entered the hotel, I was impressed. It was cheerful yet calm, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My room was ready when I arrived, so I didn’t end up testing out the changing room. But it was nice having that peace of mind.

Check-in was speedy and easy, then I took the elevator up to my room.

While the room itself was somewhat small (this is Paris after all), it was impeccably clean and had everything I needed including a small desk, good Wi-Fi, a coffee maker, and most importantly, a comfortable bed.

The pretty, well-designed bathroom was a pleasant surprise.

Equipped with a spacious shower and plenty of room for all my toiletries, it was perfect for freshening up after a full day of travel. There’s also a small spa for guests, with a sauna and hammam should you wish to warm up and relax even more.

After a not-so-quick shower, I promptly passed out and slept very soundly — although I can’t say whether that was due to good soundproofing in the hotel or the fact that I was completely exhausted!

When I awoke the next morning, I felt refreshed and ready to hop on the metro, take the train, and return home. The hotel offers a full breakfast buffet from 7am to 11am for 19€ and late check-out is also available for 40€, but I didn’t take advantage of either.

Centrally located and with rooms starting at a very reasonable 134€ per night, I’ll certainly be staying at Hôtel Amoi again!

Urbansider Tip: Book directly through the hotel’s website to reserve early check-in or late check-out.
