Hôtel Aiglon

It isn’t always easy to find a nice hotel in Paris for only 100€ a night, especially if you’re booking last minute. But I must say, I got very lucky when I managed to snag a room at Hôtel Aiglon on my most recent trip to the capital city!

Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, this budget-friendly boutique hotel in Montparnasse certainly exceeded my expectations. And it offered quite a few perks that are exceptionally rare at this price point.

Hôtel Aiglon is perfectly situated in Paris’s Montparnasse neighborhood, just a short stroll from the train station and the Montparnasse Cemetery. Whether you want to explore the area’s vibrant café scene, catch a show at a nearby theater, or hop on the metro to see more of Paris, it’s all within easy reach.

The hotel itself has a charming Art Deco vibe, with beautiful mosaics and rich wall coverings that caught my eye. It’s not often such an affordable hotel has such a unique, artsy touch.

The reception area and lobby were lovely and the room was clean and cozy with everything I needed for a comfy stay in Paris on a short solo trip.

My hotel room had all the essentials plus a few nice extra touches. When I arrived, the mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks for me, and there was also tea and a coffee maker in the room.

There’s also a self-service honesty bar in the lobby, so you can grab a drink whenever you want and just pay at reception. It’s super convenient if you want to wind down after a day out without having to leave the hotel.

And to top it all off, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

Hôtel Aiglon is a hidden gem if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in Paris that doesn’t skimp on comfort or style. I’d happily stay here again next time I’m in the Montparnasse neighborhood!
